Our work is intended to put a human face on the issues the define city life, to foster greater understanding between neighbours, and to start conversations that can lead to meaningful change.

About Matt Alexander

Matt Alexander has been working in the medium of film and video for nearly twenty years, most recently through the Youtube channel Sudbury Moves. As a student at OCAD he experimented with audience expectations of video art, and co-founded a short-lived collective of video-makers.

In 2017, Matt directed “32 Short Films About Walking in Sudbury”, a collection of previously recorded short videos, and new interviews with residents of Sudbury, Ontario. Interview subjects were asked about their experiences as a pedestrian in Sudbury.

The video premiered at the Junction North Documentary Film Festival in Sudbury and helped kick off a public conversation about pedestrian safety in that city.
